Project of the Month April 2019

Project of the Month April 2019

Before

This client has a large family and loves entertaining. They recently moved into their home and realised that their entertaining area just wasn’t big enough.

They brought in Ultimate Alfresco to come up with a design that complimented their existing house and worked with their angled boundary fencing which can be a challenge with some products.

After

We used insulated panels to create an area that was large and versatile. We removed a post from the existing alfresco which really opened this space up. Our clients now have a fully integrated and functional kitchen area with beautiful tiling.

They are loving their extended outdoor living and having all the family around to enjoy it together.

Project of the Month March 2019

Project of the Month March 2019

Before

Our client had an existing under roof alfresco which was too small for their needs. They wanted to expand their space and be able to use it all year around.

After

We extended their area seamlessly by using insulated panels to keep their space as comfortable as possible.

The new alfresco was finished off with a fireplace with a slat screen and blinds to keep in the warmth in Winter and the weather and bugs out in Summer.

By also continuing the tiling between the two areas the space not only look integrated but much larger as a result.

Our client could not be happier with the result.

Project of the Month February 2019

Project of the Month February 2019

Before

Our client had an amazing view of Lake Mulwala but was very exposed to the weather and elements.

They needed to create an alfresco area that maximised their views while allowing plenty of natural light into the house throughout Winter.

After

We combined louvres and insulated panel to create a seamless alfresco that maximises there view. At the same time, this allows plenty of natural light into the house throughout Winter.

We also created a wall to house the outdoor kitchen and give privacy from the neighbours. The new and old structures were integrated with the use of colour, texture and also materials.

Our client cannot wait to spend many Summer’s with their family outdoors enjoying their new space.

Project of the Month January 2019

Project of the Month January 2019

Before

Our client was building their new house and had limited outdoor space. They needed to create an undercover area that would still feel open and give them a sense of being outside. Also, having polished concrete inside meant they wanted to get as much sunlight inside in winter to get maximum energy efficiency.

After

The solution was louvres.

We were able to cover the needed area and still give the flexibility of an operable roof. This allowed the thermal mass of the exposed slab to still be utilised whilst creating a fully functional area all year round area to entertain and relax in.

Project of the Month December 2018

Project of the Month December 2018

Before

Our client wanted mottled sun and full ventilation of their outdoor area whilst creating a more intimate space to take in their views.

After

We created a slat screen to achieve an elegant look and make the space feel open, yet intimate. Our client can still see the sky and their views clearly and heat will not get trapped. They also have the option of growing an ornamental grape of similar over it if they choose without worrying if it will deteriorate as the structure is all powder coated.
