Project of the Month – May 2018

Project of the Month May 2018

Creating a beautiful space

Before

For the Project of the Month May 2018, we feature a project where our client was doing a full renovation. He wanted to bring the outside of his house up to date. Now that’s a large project!

Of great importance in this project was the preservation of a gorgeous ornamental grape vine.

Additionally, our client wanted to maximise the natural light entering the house and keep the area bright.

After

To maximise the light, we used a combination of aluminium open arbour and louvre banks. With each section able to operate individually, our client has full control of coverage and the patio area has maximum flexibility of space.

Paul, our client, loves the result and is looking forward to training the vine on the new structure. Here’s what he said,

Thank you very much for the wonderful surprise when I arrived home the other day…a most unexpected gift at a most unexpected time (and they are the most impressive gifts!!). I also hope you had a chance to take a look – I am very pleased with the result, and the lighting and rain sensor work seamlessly – the arbor is brilliant as well. Everyone involved has been most professional, helpful and efficient…please pass this on to the team with my enthusiastic thanks.

All the best with future projects!!… (such as the planned vergolas for Buckingham Palace and the White House etc!!)

We can’t wait to see how the alfresco looks when the vine is fully trained.
