North-facing Flexibility
Client brief: Our client has a lovely north facing yard and an existing pergola which is a great size, but constructed with an old material that traps in the heat in summer, dims the natural light into the house and was built quite low – so it feels smaller than it actually is.
Client location: Albury
What was done: By upgrading the whole structure to a louvered system, you can see the impact immediately. It feels lighter, bigger, brighter and also offers the flexibility to control the natural light into the main living areas of the house. We also added some design features to the beam ends to give it a more heritage feel.
Result: We love this design but more importantly, the client does too!
